About TW Inc

Transforming Writers is an creative collaboration between writers of the Upper Yarra Valley.

It is a not-for-profit  incorporated organisation.

Our statement of purpose is:

• To support emerging local writers and develop writing that inspires individual and community development and social change through the arts and activism
• To engage local and international speakers for their commitment to writing as a transformational tool on both the individual and community level
• To develop a dedicated genre for writers in this arena and foster a sense of belonging
• To develop networks between local writers, artists and other interest groups
• To provide general exposure for local writers on a national and international level
• To promote and showcase Warburton as a regional centre for the arts and bring economic benefit to local artists and businesses
